2007.03.05 | Farmers Hunger Strike

Leonora Galgontas (50, right) and Erlinda Gregorio (56), two of the farmers from Negros Occidental who are on their 12th day of hunger strike demanding the government that they be installed in the land awarded to them by the agrarian reform agency, were rushed to a nearby hospital in Quezon City after they collapsed Monday, 5 March 2007.
